Full Basement Guest Bathroom Addition in Park City

What began as a tight, below-grade carve out became a fully featured guest bath without expanding the footprint. We hand-dug the area to minimize vibration upstairs, formed and poured a new retaining wall, waterproofed the envelope, and framed the room to exact clearances for steam equipment and ventilation. Thin panel porcelain slabs wrap the steam shower for a seamless look and easy maintenance, while a floating double vanity, back-lit niches, and radiant floors keep the space warm, bright, and anything but “basement.”

Because the bath sits directly beneath the open-plan kitchen, we sequenced trades so plumbing and electrical stacked cleanly, reducing future service points and maximizing headroom.
