There is no single right shower. The best one depends on the room, who uses it, and how open you want it to feel. Here are the builds we are asked for most.
A curbless walk-in shower has no lip at the entry, so the floor runs straight in. It reads clean and modern, and it needs the slope and drainage worked out early.
A doorless walk-in shower skips the swinging door for an open walk-in section. Less glass to clean, and the layout is shaped to keep water where it belongs.
Frameless glass gives you the view and the light without bulky metal framing. We size and set each panel to the opening, not off a stock chart.
We remove the old tub and build a full shower in its place, often inside the same footprint, so the plumbing changes stay contained.
A built-in bench and a recessed niche add comfort and a place for everything, framed into the wall during the build rather than added on later.
