What began as a 1990s house ready for updates became a cohesive, whole-home refresh. We tightened the exterior and garage for comfort and efficiency, then opened the main floor by removing dividing walls and setting a structural steel beam. The kitchen was reoriented to the view with backsplash windows, a new island, and custom maple cabinetry with smart pullouts. A matching bar and a built-in table/bench add storage and make hosting easy.
In the primary suite, we added a custom double vanity, skylight, organized wall-closets, and an olive-green tiled shower, plus a separate toilet room for privacy. A true mudroom off the garage, complete with gear storage, utility sink, and an adjacent half bath, keeps grit out of living spaces. We coordinated trades so plumbing and electrical stack cleanly and the schedule stayed smooth. At the final walk-through, the owners said the house finally lives the way they imagined: open, efficient, and oriented to the view. They also appreciated how simple we made the decision-making process throughout.
