This Park City kitchen remodel was all about reimagining a dated 1990s space and turning it into something truly unique, functional, and full of character. The homeowners came to us wanting a kitchen that felt more like them—stylish, open, and ready for modern living. Their biggest concerns? The space was outdated, the raised bar island lacked functionality, and they dreamed of adding a mini bar area to entertain friends and family.
Our plan brought their vision to life with a combination of smart design and locally sourced materials. One of the standout features is the multi-slider door, which opens up the kitchen to the outdoors—blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living. We also created a custom walk-in pantry, reworked the cabinetry for maximum storage, and built a new, taller island designed to be more functional and social.
But what truly sets this project apart is the story in the materials. We repurposed 100-year-old wood from a Brigham Young barn and used it to build the kitchen hood, the island, and ceiling beams. For a final touch of Park City charm, the pendant lights above the island came straight from High West Distillery, blending rustic elegance with local character.
The clients were blown away by the transformation—especially the warm, custom touches and the walk-in pantry they didn’t even know was possible. They loved how we brought their vision to life while honoring local materials and craftsmanship.
This was a meaningful project that reminded us how design can be deeply personal—and how the smallest details can tell the biggest stories.
